I remember reading that, and when I read WINGS I wondered what happened to it. I can see why it was cut, but like you, I would have hard a hard time. It's such a well done scene. :(

awesome! :) I love them both. The one in the book and the one that got cut. :)

That was so fun to see an alternate beginning! I can see why you had to cut it but still fun. The whole groin thing made me laugh! Are you in AZ lately? We should have you guys over sometime.

That was awesome. I can see your editor's point, but what a fun way to jump right into the story. Thanks for sharing this.

I loved reading WINGS! It only took me one day because I was so into it. I can't wait for the next book! It's almost driving me crazy that I don't know what happens next. But I enjoyed the deleted scene as well. I understand how it could've given a part of the book away, but it could've also made you more eager to find out what happens. (Not that that was a problem.) It made me so sad when David said 'You probably don't even have a heart.' It sounded so mean, but then again, it was true. I wonder what it would feel like to hear that? I love books that make you wonder. Keep them coming! :)

I love this book!!! I love to read fairy tales and this was so different from everything else that I've read. I got so into it and I finished it in one day!
