Just For Fun With Meg Cabot!

Okay, Meg Cabot has blogged some reader and author do's and don't's along with some hilarious foreign covers over here.

And if you don't want to do the clicky thing, here is one of the highlights!

"Saying, “I love your work” is super nice, and will make any author SO happy to hear.

Special note about saying “I’m your biggest fan.” Most author’s BIGGEST fan is probably her stalker, the person who insists all of her books are secretly coded messages written about him, and who says he’s coming to get her at her next signing, so she better watch her back. HE’S her biggest fan.

So when YOU say that, even though you mean it as a nice thing, what the author is probably thinking when she hears it is: “Actually, technically, no, you’re not my biggest fan. I have a restraining order against my biggest fan.”

So “I love your work!” is probably best."

*snort* I love it!!

Back to word writing!

Ciao!

LOL. That's awesome. And good to know that I've never embarrassed myself by claiming to be anyone's biggest fan. Uh...that's not to say that I'm NOT your biggest fan and that I haven't LOVED your work, but...uh...yeah, you get the picture. :) *done embarrassing myself now* :) jk

So... question. When are you planning on releasing book 3 of Wings?... And what is the actual title going to be... unless you plan on calling it, Book 3 of Wings...

:) Loved that! I have received some fan email that made me a little uncomfortable, so I understand the reasoning here.

Given that I'm her biggest fan, and I have pepper-spray burns to prove it, and even I don't know what book 3 is called, she's probably not going to put it on her blog just yet :-)

Dear Mrs. Aprilynne Pike.
I have literally driven myself mad from trying to find a way for myself to tell you what I think of your books. And I FINNALY found a way! Yippie :D But I finished spells no more than twenty minutes ago. And I L O V E D IT! I don't just like or appreciate your work... I crave more of it! I know this may mean near to nothing to you considering I'm just 14 and well yeah. But SOMEONE needed to give you a full analysis on how AMAZING your work is! And I think I've only covered half of what I'm wanting to say. But, I think I must go now. If wanted, please e-mail me...(emmalee.cheri@yahoo.com) I would like to share more with you on my insights on this amazing-wonderful novel. -Emmlaee
